And you thought Robert Pattinson‘s take on Antinous in The Odyssey was creepy.
Check out the official trailer below for A24’s Primetime, with Pattinson playing To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen as he obsessively confronts suspected child predators for Dateline NBC.
The intense trailer features former NBCUniversal chief Jeff Zucker playing himself. Zucker’s role in the movie is fairly significant. In the footage, Zucker gets excited about the ratings potential of Hansen’s show, while giving him a backhanded compliment. “I don’t really like your show, but America loves it,” Zucker says. “So I’m going to move you to primetime.”
Afterward, Hansen is shown jumping up and down in the network’s hallway, gushing, “We’re gonna be bigger than Lost!”
Primetime is directed by Lance Oppenheim (Some Kind of Heaven) and also stars Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine.
