Solinas Integrity, an IIT Madras-incubated climate deep-tech and robotics company housed at IIT Madras Research Park, has announced a $5.5 million Series A funding round led by Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures.Solinas builds robotics and AI systems that inspect, clean, and digitise underground water and wastewater infrastructure. Its technology is deployed in 35 cities across 15 states in India, with expanding operations in West Asia. The company plans to use the capital to deepen penetration in existing markets while expanding into new states and municipal corporations across India and building out its international footprint with a strategic focus on West Asia and Southeast Asia.The proceeds will also accelerate development of next-generation robotic inspection and cleaning technologies.The company is aiming to post revenues of ₹100 crore by FY28.The round was co-led by Mela Ventures and also saw participation from Luthra Group alongside existing investor SBI Ventures, Rainmatter and 8X Ventures Fund I. The round follows Solinas’ Series A, led by SBI Ventures through the SVL-SME Fund (Neev II) in May 2024. “As we enter our next phase, we have the leadership team as well as the backing of mission aligned institutional investors in place to build India’s largest tech company in the underground asset management space.
