….Urges Massive Support in Aug. 15 Poll

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has described the August 15 election as more than a contest for political victory, saying it offers the people of the state an opportunity to send a strong message to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the need to respect their democratic choice.

Adeleke stated this in a message shared on his official X handle, where he accused former Osun State Governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Bola Oyebamiji, of using their influence within the ruling APC at the federal level against the state.

According to the governor, the alleged actions were aimed at punishing the people of Osun for voting for his administration in the 2022 governorship election.

He claimed that such actions had affected the welfare of workers and posed threats to the livelihoods of civil servants, traders, artisans and other residents of the state.
