Train No. 16515 Yeshwantpur - Karwar tri-weekly express enters Bantwal Station in Dakshina Kannada district.

The South Western Railway has decided to cancel day train services on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru/Karwar sector for a month in October to provide line block for tamping work and material train movement on the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road Ghat section.However, the services would be operated during the Navarathri/ Dasara holidays so as to not inconvenience holiday travellers. The cancelled services include Train No. 16515/516 Yeshwantpur-Karwar-Yeshwantpur tri-weekly, Train No. 16575/576 Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Junction-Mangaluru Junction Gomateshwara tri-weekly and Train No. 16539/540 Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Junction-Mangaluru Junction weekly express services.
Services of Yeshwantpur - Mangaluru Junction/ Karwar tri-weekly express and Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Junction weekly express will be cancelled for a month in October.
