BEIRUT, August 6. /TASS/. The Israeli army launched a series of strikes on southern Lebanon in recent hours, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.
According to the news agency, the area near the settlement of Al-Mansouri came under three airstrikes and artillery fire. At least four more airstrikes struck the town of Burj el-Shamali, located near the city of Tyre. Lebanese authorities said at least four people wounded in the attacks were taken to medical facilities in Tyre.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) accused Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire in southern Lebanon and announced strikes on the territory of the Arab country.
Lebanese media reported that one person was killed and 11 others were injured in an Israeli strike on the town of Tibnin. Later, the IDF reported that two Israeli servicemen were killed in southern Lebanon.
