What sets these two models apart is that the 4K Select is intended to be more budget-friendly and cover just the basics. While the standard model uses an Android-based ecosystem of apps and comes with 2GB of memory, the Select model makes use of a closed Linux system and only houses 1GB of memory. The standard model also support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and can render a slightly more advanced HDR.
