New Delhi: Primus Partners has launched its Global Capability Hub in Gurugram, repositioning itself from a GCC advisory firm into an end-to-end “Build & Operate” partner covering strategy, talent, technology and operations.The hub’s first client is Linde-Wiemann, a Germany-based Tier-1 automotive supplier, which will run a technology-focused centre from Gurugram supporting ERP, business intelligence, finance, and sales and supply chain functions, with plans to expand into engineering and digital design.Also Read: India's GCCs create world-class research, but rarely own the IP that generates future wealthNilaya Varma, Global CEO of Primus Partners, said the firm’s role is evolving. “We are taking the next step by helping them build, operate and scale these centres from India,” he said.Speaking on the company’s decision to invest in Haryana, Varma said Gurugram is fast becoming an attractive destination for multinational Global Capability Centres (GCCs), as Haryana’s newly announced GCC Policy 2026 and the city’s deep talent pool have started drawing firms that were traditionally anchored in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune.“While traditional destinations will continue to grow, the next wave of investments will increasingly be driven by locations that combine exceptional talent, strong industry ecosystems, world-class infrastructure and progressive policy support,” he said.Also Read: Tier 2 cities emerge as next frontiers for India's growing GCC ecosystemMore than 270 GCCs, including several Fortune 200 companies, already operate in Haryana. The state’s proximity to Delhi-NCR, strong automotive and manufacturing base, and growing digital economy are now attracting sectors, particularly automotive, that have traditionally favoured South India.In addition to bringing in more investment, GCCs generate high-value jobs in engineering, analytics and finance while fuelling demand for commercial real estate, hospitality and urban infrastructure.
