Ukrainian drones hit one of Russia's largest oil refineries in the Yaroslavl region overnight. Local monitoring channels report this. Some videos show a large fire at the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Yaroslavl, over 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the plant had already been attacked the previous night. Footage taken by Yaroslavl residents shows columns of smoke rising over the city during a drone attack that occurred overnight.
The independent Russian news channel Astra, present on Telegram, analyzed the footage using geolocation and determined that the Slavneft-Yanos refinery was on fire. The governor of the Yaroslavl oblast, Mikhail Yevrayev, announced in the evening that Ukrainian drones were attacking the region.
