Melanie Sykes looked incredible in her first modelling campaign - for sunglasses brand Cubitts - since shaving her head after discussing her battle with alopecia.
The TV presenter, 55, opted to shave her head after the condition resulted in her losing 'two-thirds' of her hair.
It's reported that two per cent of the global population suffer from alopecia areata, the most common autoimmune form of the condition that results in patchy hair loss.
While androgenetic alopecia is hormonally driven and represents male and female pattern baldness, affecting roughly 50 per cent of men by age 50 and 40 per cent of women, particularly those who are postpartum.
And Melanie has continued to be open and honest about her experience since she was diagnosed last April.
