The Nigerian Bar Association has faulted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over its decision to freeze the Osun State Government’s bank account, describing the move as unconstitutional without due legal process.

Meanwhile, the purported Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, Adeniyi Adeyemi, has rejected a closed-door interrogation by the House of Representatives, while the EFCC has defended its decision to restrict the state’s accounts.

Elsewhere, the Nigerian Army has declared two senior ISWAP leaders wanted, and former Abia State Governor Orji Kalu says he would quit the APC if President Bola Tinubu ever disrespects Catholic bishops.
