Springbok prop Zach Porthen is ready to step upagainst Argentina as he continues to find his feet in Test rugby.
When Zach Porthen made his Springbok debut against Japan last November, he knew the leap from junior rugby to the international arena would be steep.
Nine months later, the 21-year-old tighthead prop believes he is beginning to find his feet in Test rugby as he prepares to earn his sixth cap against Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday.
Porthen says his biggest growth has come in the set pieces, although he insists there is still plenty of work to do.
"Playing junior rugby is one thing, but it is obviously a massive step up to international rugby, so you are always trying to better every aspect of your game," he said.
