MV Electrosystems and Juniper Green Energy made a strong debut on the stock exchanges on Thursday, listing at premiums over their respective IPO prices. While both mainboard IPOs opened with gains, MV Electrosystems emerged as the stronger performer, rising as much as 38 per cent above its issue price during the trading session.MV Electrosystems listed at ₹519 on the BSE, a premium of 22 per cent over its IPO price of ₹425. On the NSE, the stock debuted at ₹520, up 22.3 per cent from the issue price.During the session, the stock climbed to ₹586, about 38 per cent above the offer price.Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd, said MV Electrosystems delivered a strong listing with a 22 per cent premium, indicating positive investor sentiment. However, she noted that the company reported a weak FY26 performance, with revenue declining around 21 per cent y-o-y and a net loss of ₹12.6 crore. She said the investment story now depends on improving execution and returning to profitable growth.Nyati said allotted investors can consider booking partial profits and hold the remaining position with a stop-loss at ₹470, while fresh investors should wait for consistent operational performance before taking exposure.Juniper Green EnergyJuniper Green Energy listed at ₹245 on the NSE, a premium of around 9 per cent over its IPO price of ₹225. On the BSE, the stock debuted at ₹242, representing a 7.5 per cent premium.At the time of writing, the stock was trading at around ₹238, below its listing price.
