Neuland Laboratories shares rallied more than 10 per cent to hit a fresh record high on the NSE on Thursday after the company reported its Q1FY27 results and announced a manufacturing capacity expansion.The stock touched a fresh peak of ₹21,999 on the NSE, up 10.2 per cent from its previous close of ₹19,956.The rally came after the company posted a sharp improvement in profitability on a y-o-y basis and its board approved an expansion of manufacturing capacity at its Unit 1 facility in Telangana.Neuland Laboratories reported a standalone profit after tax (PAT) of ₹147.36 crore in Q1FY27. This was lower than ₹212.52 crore in the March 2026 quarter but higher than ₹13.71 crore reported in Q1FY26.The company’s board approved the enhancement of manufacturing capacity at Unit 1 located at Bonthapally Village, Gummadidala Mandal, Sangareddy District, Telangana. The proposed capacity addition is 18 KL and will require an investment of ₹39.8 crore.Commenting on the performance, Saharsh Davuluri, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Neuland Laboratories, said Q1 FY27 was broadly in line with the company’s expectations, with encouraging performance from both the CMS and GDS businesses, marking a good start to the year.He added that while commercial products contributed most of the revenue, the company is witnessing exciting developments in its pipeline projects.
