Christian Petersen / Getty ImagesAug. 5, 2026 Updated 10:02 pm EDTThe Phoenix Suns and Dillon Brooks have agreed to a three-year $73 million contract extension, team sources told The Athletic on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been finalized.Brooks was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Suns ahead of the 2025-26 season in the package that sent Kevin Durant from Phoenix to the Rockets. He played 56 games last season, averaging a career-high 20.2 points per game, helping the Suns to a 45-37 record and the seventh seed in the Western Conference playoffs.
