Abode announces two Apple Home-compatible sensors
Abode today announced its new Garage Tilt Sensor and Outdoor Contact Sensor, designed to monitor entry points that the company says are often beyond the reach of traditional indoor sensors.
Both products are compatible with Apple Home, as well as with Alexa and Google Assistant. They can leverage Abode’s CUE smart home automation engine to offer personalized behaviors, such as “driveway lights that switch on the moment an entry gate opens after dark, or a garage door that closes itself if it’s been left open for more than 10 minutes,” according to the company.
