Elders of the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress have called on Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to show commitment to the preparation of the party ahead of the general election in 2027.
The elders, under the auspices of the APC Elders Forum, expressed displeasure over the alleged lackadaisical preparation for the election in the state.
The Chairman of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Mandate Elders Forum, Mr Demola Ijabiyi, raised the concern in Akure, the state capital, on Wednesday, at the free medical treatment for elders in the state.
The event was organised by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
According to the elders, the nationwide political strategy for victory being developed by the President had not been implemented in Ondo State effectively.
