Former Naftogaz CEO and recently appointed Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi ordered Ukrainian authorities to identify alternative warehouse space within three days, as part of a broader push to shield the country’s supply chains from Russian strikes. Koretskyi detailed the measures on his Telegram channel, following an urgent meeting with representatives from business, retail, and logistics companies. He said that the government’s priority is preventing shortages of food, medicine, and other essential goods, particularly in frontline regions.JOIN US ON TELEGRAMFollow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official. “Standard approaches don’t work under wartime conditions – we need fast, unconventional solutions,” Koretskyi said, describing Russia’s strikes on supply enterprises as a deliberate, systematic effort to disrupt products reaching millions of Ukrainian residents. Warehouse dispersal ordered within days Koretskyi said the state is prepared to give businesses priority access to available facilities, so that they can spread out their storage operations and reduce the risk of losing entire stockpiles to a single strike. He instructed the Ministry of Economy, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, and the State Property Fund to compile a list of eligible properties within three days. However, he did not specify how many sites authorities are expected to identify or provide further details on where they might be located. New credit tools under discussion “In the near future, we will hold a separate, focused meeting with the leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine, the banking sector, and relevant ministries,” Koretskyi said, adding that the goal is to develop credit support mechanisms for affected businesses.
