DeepSig Leaders Appointed to FCC's New Technological Advisory Council
CTO Dr. Tim O’Shea and VP of Technical Standards Dr. James Lansford to serve as Company Representatives
DeepSig, a pioneer in AI-native wireless communications, today announced that two members of its technical leadership team have been appointed to serve on the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Technological Advisory Council (TAC), expanding the company’s participation in one of the nation’s leading advisory boards for communications technology. Dr. Tim O’Shea, CTO and Co-Founder, will serve as DeepSig's primary representative, while Dr. James Lansford, VP of Technical Standards, will serve as the company’s alternate representative.
Dr. O'Shea returns to the council after previously serving two years, while Dr. Lansford joins him in bringing DeepSig's combined expertise in AI-native wireless communications, signal processing, and technical standards to the Commission. He has over 30 years of experience in wireless standards, including unlicensed spectrum policy. Together, they provide complementary perspectives spanning advanced wireless research, standards development, and practical deployment of next-generation communication systems.
