Spotfire Launches Push Compute on Snowflake AI Data Cloud

Spotfire Push Compute will enable joint customers to solve complex industrial problems at scale with distributed compute

Spotfire today announced the launch of SpotfireⓇ Push Compute on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. This new integration will enable organizations to seamlessly run advanced industrial data transformations and calculations at scale, directly on Snowflake. This facilitates the analysis of much larger datasets and unlocks novel industrial analytic applications.

Brad Hopper, VP of Industry Applications at Spotfire, states, “Spotfire’s Push Compute integration with Snowflake is a major technology milestone, unlocking industrial AI and analytics at scale for our joint customers in Manufacturing and Energy. As these customers migrate a diversity of their largest scale data to Snowflake, including basin-wide directional surveys, well and drilling logs, time series data from sensors, and more, Spotfire and Snowflake will enable them to perform strategic, cross-domain analytics for field development, production optimization, asset valuation, and operational excellence.”

By leveraging the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, Spotfire is joining Snowflake’s efforts to mobilize the world’s data to help organizations solve the most complex, data-heavy industrial challenges. Spotfire has long provided fast and secure data pull, push, and on-demand queries in Snowflake. With Spotfire Push Compute, it is now also possible to visually orchestrate dynamic data transformations and Snowpark computations without moving data, while maintaining the agile data exploration experience of Spotfire. On a self-service basis, engineers and scientists can develop repeatable analytical workflows, which compute over larger data volumes and support more intensive computations than previously possible.
