Russian forces lost 30,957 troops in July, while also suffering record losses in drones, boats, and small vessels, according to combat data verified through Ukraine's DELTA battlefield management system.

The figures were released by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, Ukrinform reports.

In July 2026, Ukraine's Defense Forces continued to inflict losses on Russian troops on land, at sea, and in the air, with Russian offensive operations resulting in heavy casualties.

According to the ministry, Ukraine's military uses the DELTA combat system to monitor the battlefield in real time.

"During the second month of summer, 30,957 Russian troops were killed or seriously wounded on the battlefield. The overwhelming majority of these casualties occurred in the Donetsk region. Every one of these strikes has been verified in the DELTA system," the ministry said.
