Taqa: Oman Human Rights Commission, in collaboration with the Social Development Committee and the Omani Women's Association in the Wilayat of Taqa, organised a seminar titled "Together We Strengthen Humanitarian and Rights Work to Serve the Community in the Sultanate of Oman" on WednesdayThe seminar aimed to highlight the integration between rights-based frameworks and voluntary humanitarian efforts, while reinforcing the principles of sustainable development. The seminar featured a series of working papers on "The Role of Oman Human Rights Commission in Protecting and Promoting Human Rights in the Sultanate of Oman," "Taqah Charity Team – A Journey of Giving and Sustainable Humanitarian Impact," and "Voluntary Work and Its Impact on Promoting Human Rights and Community Service."The seminar also featured a panel discussion during which participants exchanged views and insights on challenges facing voluntary teams, mechanisms for electronic integration between service institutions, and the promotion of rights-based concepts among priority care groups.
