HyderabadCity in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, on Wednesday, said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would soon inaugurate the steel bridge at Saidabad, which would greatly improve commuter mobility and save time.Also the Transport and BC Welfare Minister, Mr. Prabhakar said that the government is committed to public welfare.Mr. Prabhakar inspected the bridge on Wednesday, along with Minister Mohammed Azharuddin, Advisor to the Telangana government V. Hanumantha Rao, and legislators Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala and Kaleru Venkatesh. They also inspected the Moosarambagh bridge.The steel bridge was completed at a cost of ₹680 crore, he said, adding that it extends from Chanchalguda Jail to Owaisi Hospital, with an additional line connecting Champapet. Touching upon how the bridge would help, he said that residents of Santosh Nagar, Chanchalguda Jail area, Saidabad and surrounding localities would stand to gain as it would help them reach other parts of the city quicker and with without any inconvenience.The Minister said that, along with the Saidabad steel bridge, the Moosarambagh bridge would also be inaugurated shortly and opened for public use.He said that approach roads to these bridges would be widened. Infrastructure in Hyderabad was being developed in accordance with the growing population of the city. Bridge works near KBR Park are also progressing rapidly, he said.“Government is strategically constructing flyovers in a planned manner in the city to reduce traffic congestion.
