Minister Vijayanand Kashalpanavar alleged that Congress leaders R.B. Timmapur and S.G. Nanjayyanamath were plotting against him to prevent him from becoming Bagalkot district in-charge Minister. He told reporters in Ilkal that the Congress High command would take a decision about action against indiscipline in the party, but he would not seek action against the two leaders.“Such conspiracy is not new in our district. This has been going on since our fathers’ time. It is sad that our own party members are conspiring against us. The party has treated them properly. Even when Mr. Timmapur lost, he was made a MLC and Minister. But such leaders are speaking against the party. It is not good,” he said. They have alleged that the senior leaders took money and appointed Ministers. They have said the leaders had lost their mental balance. This is not acceptable, he said.
