Insulet Corp.
(NASDAQ:PODD) stock traded lower Wednesday after the insulin pump maker reported second-quarter results that topped Wall Street expectations but lowered its full-year revenue guidance and issued third-quarter sales guidance that came in below analysts' estimates.
Adjusted earnings rose to $1.66 per share from $1.17 a year earlier, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $1.45.
Revenue increased 23.5% year over year to $801.7 million, topping the Street estimate of $787.2 million.
Net income climbed to $95 million, or $1.37 per diluted share, from $22.5 million, or 32 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
