The e-commerce platform posted 34% revenue growth in the second quarter and projected third-quarter growth above Wall Street expectations

Shopify $SHOP reported second-quarter revenue of $3.58 billion on Wednesday, up 34% from the prior year, while its third-quarter outlook cleared the bar analysts had set, lifting shares 26% in premarket trading.
The results beat analysts' average estimate of $3.45 billion for the quarter ended June 30, according to Yahoo Finance. For the third quarter, Shopify expects revenue to grow at a low-thirties percentage rate, compared with analyst expectations of a 26.3% increase, according to Yahoo Finance.
