Sad news today, as longtime CTV news anchor Lloyd Robertson has died at age 92. For many Canadians he was the voice of the news, as his commanding demeanor helmed Canada’s most-watched newscast at CTV for more than 30 years, and had anchored CBC’s The National for six years before that. As he might say: that’s the kind of life it’s been. His narration of many of the biggest moments in our country’s history will live on in memories from coast to coast to coast.
