Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service's deputy chief fire officer, Nathaniel Hooton, extended condolences to the family and praised the 'extremely hard' work of the multi-agency response, including Hereford and Worcester and Warwickshire fire services. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but Gloucestershire Constabulary has stated that they do not suspect any third-party involvement in Mr Owens' death.
