He has translated renewed cultural relevance into durable commercial demand across categories, demographics and platforms. His ascent to the top is not the result of one isolated event; it is the culmination of a multi-year commercial resurgence. His films in 2023 re-established his extraordinary audience pull, but the more important 2025 comeback is driven almost entirely by an expansion of his endorsement mandate rather than a stronger film slate,” said Umakanta Panigrahi, Managing Director, Valuation Advisory Services, Kroll. The global financial and risk advisory solutions said tht King Khan’s brand associations increased from 28 in 2024 to 36 in 2025 while endorsement fee remained resilient at Rs 10 crore leading to a 22 per cent jump in his brand valuation.Meanwhile, the combined brand value of the top 25 Indian celebrities saw a dip of about 3.7 per cent to $ 2 billion in 2025.“The 2025 rankings reflect how celebrity brand value is being shaped by a combination of traditional endorsement strength, digital relevance, social media engagement and emerging AI-led opportunities. While established names continue to command significant brand equity, digital-first engagement and new monetization models, including entrepreneurial ventures, are increasingly influencing the next wave of celebrity brands,”said Panigrahi.Other notable movements included Ananya Panday rising to No. 19, Samantha Ruth Prabhu to No. 21, Janhvi Kapoor to No. 23 and Shraddha Kapoor to No. 24.A significant rise in share of digital endorsements to total brand valuation was also noted, which accounted for roughly 40%–60% of portfolios in earlier years, it added.Published on August 5, 2026
