Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, to August 5, 2026—amount to approximately 1,452,880 personnel, including 1,130 over the past 24 hours.

This is stated in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by Ukrinform.

In addition, Russia has lost 12,242 (+5) tanks, 25,084 (+5) armored fighting vehicles, 47,396 (+65) artillery systems, 2,002 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,540 (+2) air defense systems, aircraft—439 (+0), helicopters—354 (+0), ground-based robotic systems—2,134 (+10), operational-tactical-level UAVs—444,455 (+1,715), cruise missiles – 5,007 (+0), ships/boats – 34 (+0), submarines – 2 (+0), vehicles and tankers – 130,266 (+449), and specialized equipment – 4,495 (+3).
