The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has warned Nigerians against the sale and use of a suspected counterfeit product, Menofix Capsules, declaring that the medicine is not registered with the agency despite being marketed with sweeping health claims targeting menopausal women.
The manufacturer of the product, branded with the marketing tagline, "Feel Young Again," claims that the drug is capable of eliminating hot flashes, improving mood and memory, enhancing sleep and libido, eliminating joint and body pains, eliminating vaginal dryness, and promoting digestion.

According to NAFDAC, monitoring has commenced to trace the product's distribution network and ensure its removal from circulation across the country.
