Springbok flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu admits that being sidelined during the business end of the season was frustrating, but the prodigiously talented No 10 is ready to hit the ground running in Saturday’s Test against Argentina.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu returns to international action at Estadio José Amalfitani after missing the latter stages of the United Rugby Championship with the Stormers through injury. The setback also kept him out of South Africa's early-season Test fixtures in the Nations Championship, but the 24-year-old playmaker used the enforced break to refine his craft rather than dwell on his misfortune.
"Getting injured and not being able to help my team in the latter stages of the URC was frustrating, and obviously the Springboks' equation was more frustrating," Feinberg-Mngomezulu told reporters from Argentina.
"I’m really not one to dwell. I used the time to look at the game from a more tactical aspect and develop areas of my game that I probably didn’t have time for before. It wasn’t enjoyable being on the sidelines, but I managed to make the most of the time off."
