MyPillow founder Mike Lindell stepped down as chief executive officer and reduced his ownership stake to focus full-time on his campaign for governor of Minnesota.
Lindell Leaves MyPillow CEO Role On Tuesday, MyPillow announced that Lindell has stepped down as CEO after 22 years and reduced his ownership to a minority stake as he shifts his focus to the Minnesota governor's race.
Lindell will remain a shareholder and a member of the company's board of directors James "Jim" Furlong, who previously served as MyPillow’s president from 2004 to 2019, will return to the company as its new CEO.
In a post on X, Lindell wrote, "Today, I've made one of the biggest decisions of my life.
I'm stepping down as CEO of MyPillow so I can devote 100% of my time and energy to my campaign for Governor of Minnesota." Today, I’ve made one of the biggest decisions of my life.
