Three Missouri men have been charged in connection with an alleged scheme to rob bitcoin (BTC) through a planned home invasion in Connecticut, federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Sullivan for the District of Connecticut said the three individuals — Sedric Louis, John Davis, and Martel Williams — face a charge of conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery, also known as Hobbs Act robbery.

The offense carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
