The Fiji Government has announced that Samoa’s first resident High Commissioner to Fiji, Ali’ioaiga Feturi Elisaia, is concluding his diplomatic posting after five years in the role.

The outgoing high commissioner paid a farewell courtesy call on Fiji’s President, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, at State House on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the Fiji Government.

Ali’ioaiga has served as Samoa’s High Commissioner to Fiji since March 2021.
