The Chicago Bears and right tackle Darnell Wright agreed to a four-year contract extension, Wright’s agent confirmed Tuesday. General manager Ryan Poles’ inaugural first-round pick, Wright was named second-team All-Pro last season.The deal is four years for $116 million, including $93 million guaranteed, a league source who was not allowed to speak about the deal until it was made public confirmed. The $29 million average per year is the highest in the league for a right tackle and second-highest for offensive tackles behind Laremy Tunsil, per Spotrac.The 10th pick of the 2023 draft, Wright has started 49 games for the Bears over three seasons, missing just two games.
