Following last month’s sunsetting of TV Time, one of the app’s co-founders, Antonio Pinto, announced Bingers, a new TV and movies tracking app that leans more heavily on social features. Here are the details.
Bingers now available for download
When Whip Media announced it would shut down TV-tracking app TV Time, one of the app’s co-founders announced Bingers, “a fast and beautiful watchlist with a fun community.”
Now, as spotted by TechCrunch, Bingers is available to download on iOS and Android, offering a spiritual successor of sorts for users who have yet to find a replacement for what was once one of the world’s most widely used TV-tracking apps.
Former TV Timer users who used the platform’s export tool to save their data before the app’s shutdown can import their archive into Bingers to pick up where they left off, while users who didn’t export their data or are new to TV-tracking apps can start anew.
