Karol G is set to release her sixth studio album soon, and to build expectations, she premiered her single “Matadora” on the opening night of her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour on July 4 in Chicago.
Meaning “killer” or “stunning,” the provocative and NSFW song is powered by a hard-hitting perreo sound and unapologetic lyrics about owning her sensuality. “Baby, I’m not feeling romantic/ You’ve got me all hot and bothered/ Let’s cut the small talk,” she sings in the opening verse.
