A woman who suffered a cardiac arrest while taking the New York State bar exam is suing the test site, Hofstra University, claiming that CPR and an automated external defibrillator were not provided in a timely manner by staff, and that fellow test-takers who tried to alert officials or seek emergency assistance were discouraged from intervening.
