The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2026 examinations will be conducted from August 5 to August 16, 2026, in 22 sessions through the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, said exam convenor M. Venkata Krishna Reddy.In a statement on Tuesday (August 4), Mr. Krishna Reddy said a total of 103 examination centres had been set up for conducting the test. Of these, 91 centres were located in Andhra Pradesh and 12 centres had been established in the neighbouring States. The out-of-State centres include four in Telangana, three in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), two in Karnataka and three in Berhampur (Odisha).Online applications for the APTET were accepted from June 5, 2026, to July 5, 2026. A total of 2,14,486 candidates submitted 2,38,252 applications. Among them, 74,711 in-service teachers submitted 84,798 applications.The exam would be conducted in two sessions, the first one from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon and the second session from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The hall tickets have already been made available in the candidates’ individual login accounts. Candidates must report to the examination centre with their hall ticket and any one government-issued photo identity card and they are also advised to reach their allotted examination centre at least one hour before the commencement of the examination, said Mr. Krishna Reddy.
