The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority is off to the races — and putting speed in riders’ pockets with a limited-edition Smart Trip card for Washington, D.C.’s Grand Prix.
The race is part of Freedom 250 to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary.
The IndyCar race will take place from Aug. 22 to 23, transforming D.C. streets into the first auto racing circuit ever hosted in the capital.
Metro posted a photo of the card on X.
