Tesla's Chinese operations extended their strong track record in July, following denials from CEO Elon Musk that he was considering selling the unit in order to ease the regulatory pathways for an eventual SpaceX (SPCX) merger. Wholesale sales of electric vehicles from Tesla's Gigafactory Shanghai rose 38% year-over-year last month, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).…
