Andhra University has postponed all undergraduate, postgraduate and professional examinations scheduled for August 5 in view of the proposed State-wide bandh on Wednesday.The decision was taken following orders issued by the Vice-Chancellor on August 4, according to a circular issued by the Controller of Examinations.The supplementary examinations for B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.B.A., B.H.M.C.T. and B.C.A. courses, which were scheduled to be held in the morning session on August 5, have been rescheduled to August 26. Examinations for the MBA, MHRM and PG Diploma in Counselling and Guidance courses will now be held on August 6, while the LLB (three-year and five-year), LLM and M.Ed. examinations have been rescheduled to August 11.The circular said the Special Drive and Special Examinations would be conducted as per the original schedule. The timings of the rescheduled examinations will remain unchanged. Principals of affiliated colleges and Chief Superintendents of examination centres have been asked to take note of the revised schedule. Published - August 04, 2026 10:30 pm IST
