Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has revealed that he once borrowed money to sustain a luxurious lifestyle, admitting that he prioritised appearances over financial wisdom before changing his outlook on life.
In a recent episode of the MENtality Podcast, the actor said he previously took loans to fund expensive fashion purchases and other luxury items, but eventually realised the pursuit of material possessions was driven more by external pressure than genuine fulfilment.
“There will always be a newer watch, a newer car,” Timini said.
Recalling one of his biggest spending habits, the actor disclosed that he owned an extensive perfume collection before recognising how much wealth he could have built instead.
