Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The animated adventure, Minions & Monsters, will be released on digital platforms Aug. 11.
The movie will be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on Sept. 8.
"This is the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood as movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try saving the planet from the mayhem they created," Universal Pictures Home Entertainment said in a press release on Tuesday.
The voice cast includes Pierre Coffin, Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jesse Eisenberg, Bobby Moynihan, Jeff Bridges, Zoey Deutch and Phil LaMarr.
