Dermot Mulroney has addressed his imminent exit from Chicago Fire after just two seasons. The actor, 62, first joined NBC’s long-running firefighter drama in 2024 as Battalion Chief Dom Pascal. It was reported last week that Mulroney will be leaving the series early in season 15, premiering October 7. No reason was given for his departure, though there is speculation that it may be related to his upcoming role in season two of Netflix’s The Hunting Wives. Speaking at Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention over the weekend, Mulroney expressed gratitude for his brief yet meaningful time on the show. “Loved every minute of it. Became friends with this incredible crew of people,” he said, according to Deadline. Miñoso, who has played firefighter Joe Cruz since the show’s debut, will also be leaving early in season 15.
