From the time our three kids were little, our family has always prioritized low-cost travel. We've visited the free museums of New York City, hiked in Yosemite, and enjoyed several lay-on-the-beach vacations in Mexico. So when our oldest child graduated from high school last year, we felt a "last hurrah" family trip was in order, this time with a larger budget that was a little bit more celebratory. Our plan? A three-week trip to England. As the family travel planner, I set out to give us a UK experience we'd never forget. For Anglophiles like us, who love British books, TV, and movies, what could be more unforgettable than a stay at an English country estate?
The family booked a stay at Severn End, a 15th-century manor house in Worcestershire.
