Seven youth-led Kenyan enterprises and community organizations developing innovative solutions to some of the country's most pressing environmental challenges have received more than $240, 000 in funding from the Kenya Community Development Foundation to scale their initiatives.
The beneficiaries are demonstrating how locally driven innovation can deliver practical and scalable solutions to environmental challenges, while creating jobs and sustainable livelihoods.
Collectively, their innovations address critical issues such as waste management, sustainable agriculture, water scarcity, access to clean energy, affordable housing, and the transition to a circular economy.
