Green Shield Risk Solutions today announced a significant expansion of Guardian Elite Home, its non-admitted homeowners program for affluent primary and secondary residences in California and Colorado, alongside the launch of Compass, a modern agent portal designed to simplify quoting, submissions and account management.
The announcement comes as independent agents continue to navigate limited capacity and changing underwriting appetites for high-value homes, particularly in areas with wildfire exposure. Guardian Elite Home is designed to give agents another option for clients whose properties may not fit within the parameters of standard personal lines markets.
The program now offers expanded capacity across every ZIP code in California and Colorado, Coverage A limits of up to $7 million and total insured values of up to $10 million. Green Shield has also introduced an updated rating approach intended to create more competitive opportunities for many eligible properties, including consideration of qualifying home-hardening and risk-reduction measures.
