Adnoc has partnered with oilfield services company SLB to deploy an AI-powered platform managing drilling operations across more than 120 rigs.
The Real-Time Operations Centre reduces engineering effort by 30-40 per cent, enabling engineers to oversee two to three times more rigs simultaneously.
The platform can identify potential issues early, reducing incident response times by 4-12 hours and avoiding one to two days of rig downtime.
Adnoc is expanding its AI and robotics capabilities across operations as it targets production of five million barrels per day by 2027.
