RIYADH: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority has opened registration for the AI Professional Badges program, which launched earlier this year during the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building in Riyadh.
The first phase covers two specializations: the AI Engineer Badge, focusing on practical skills in developing AI models and systems; and the Data Scientist Badge, focusing on algorithm development and data analysis.
Applicants will undergo a standardized three-level assessment supervised by an independent scientific committee of researchers, academics, and experts from the public and private sectors.
The framework is designed to assess scientific knowledge, analytical ability and practical skills, providing sectors with a reliable benchmark for identifying qualified AI and data professionals.
It aims to strengthen national talent and develop the Kingdom’s burgeoning AI industry. Applications are open at athkax.sdaia.gov.sa/badges.
